Daiya Pizza With Natural Selections Sliced Pepperoni, Ham, Bacon, Mushrooms and Onions

Out grocery shopping one day I happened to notice a new product…

A bag of Natural Selections Sliced Pepperoni

Natural Selections Sliced Pepperoni by Maple Leaf.

As my son, Michael, has yet to try Pepperoni (due to cross-contamination issues at the deli and products that may or may not include his allergens) I thought he might like to try this new, allergen free (for him) Pepperoni. It would be the perfect compliment on his Friday Night Pizza Night ‘Daiya Pizza’ along with all his other toppings…ham, bacon, mushrooms and onions.

It was a hit…boy did it look and smell good!

Enjoy!

How do you top your Daiya Pizza?

  1. That pizza looks Delish!!!! I discovered the same product in September. My 7 year old dairy, egg, and shellfish allergic son Loves them on his pizza. I feel a whole lot better using “natural” ingredients and the dairy free pizza looks a whole lot more like “other” pizzas.

    Love your site!!!

  2. Susan, looks yummy! Hope you had a nice Christmas! I’m curious what secrets you have found in using Daiya, regarding browning the cheese. I find it hard to brown, which is how I like it–sometimes I use a quick broil, but then the edges burn.

    • Hi there! Sorry no secrets with Daiya. My son, Michael, sprinkles Daiya on tortilla chips but is not keen on baking it too long…he does not like the taste of it. He bakes Daiya just long enough for it to melt. Having never eaten cheese, he is unaware of it’s browning capabilities. 🙂

Shall we discuss?
