Strawberries, strawberries, strawberries!
I certainly picked a plethora of strawberries at Watson’s Farms!
When one of Michael’s friends inquired if the Strawberry Bundt Cake I made had bananas in it…well, it gave me an idea!
Strawberries and bananas are a winning combination!
Married beautifully in my Dairy, Egg, Soy and Peanut/Tree Nut Free Banana Bran Muffins…et voila…
Dairy, Egg, Soy and Peanut/Tree Nut Free Strawberry Bran Muffins!
Follow the directions for the recipe by clicking here…then add a cup of chopped strawberries to the batter.
Remember to top the muffin with a slice of strawberry for the finishing touch!
The strawberry on top helps to identify which muffins are strawberry when the freezer is full of muffins…blueberry and raisin topped muffins are also winning combinations that fill my freezer!
Freezing cooled muffins are just a ‘microwave warming away’ to the taste of a freshly baked muffin anytime!
My husband loves to pack one in his lunch to accompany his morning coffee…perfect ‘pick me up’ snack during the work day!
Dairy, Egg, Soy and Peanut/Tree Nut Free Strawberry Bran Muffins are a tasty, healthy option to add to one’s day!
Enjoy!
Question: Have you been out strawberry picking yet? Are you baking with your strawberries or enjoying them simply out of the bowl? What are your favourite ways to enjoy the fresh strawberries of the season?
I am just making a decision here on my breakfast while I check my e-mail…….boy do I feel like a muffin!!
Matt’s en route with your muffin for breakfast! Enjoy! UPDATE: Matt misunderstood…Linda was the recipient of the muffin this morning…will send one for tomorrow! lol 🙂
And a marvelous mistaken muffin it was. No-brainer for me! I enjoyed it with my morning coffee very much, thank you. Some errors lead to wonderful surprises.
Love that boy of yours!!!! 🙂
Too funny! Glad you enjoyed it!:)
Mmmmm!!! Yes please!! 😉
Thank you, thank you, thank you! The muffin was delicious! The only problem was that when you brought it to me I wasn’t alone so I had to share!! BTW, yesterday was Natasha’s birthday and the cake of choice was, yet again, your Sour Cream Chocolate Chip Cake! My mom was shocked that she wanted a cake without icing, but Natasha defended it to the end. And one bite proved her right!
Happy Birthday Natasha! I know, nothing beats Sour Cream Chocolate Chip Cake…my all-time favourite childhood cake! Even the adapted version was awesome! So simple yet decadent…one bite is all it takes!
